An amusing, witty title that makes me sound intelligent

I am officially rubbish at remembering to write stuff in the blog.

The Müf steamroller is slowly gathering pace. We have our first rehearsal tonight in Rebus' new lock-up. Which looks fantastic. Unfortunately it means that I can't go down and see them play in the gigantic 360 bar at the Students Union. Although we'll see them at the Fez on Saturday...

I was in Bristol at the weekend. What Reading needs is more, better venues. Our music scene at the moment is very healthy but there aren't that many really good places to play. The Uni has a couple, the Hexagon is great for bigger bands. The Fez is pretty good (other than the pillar onstage) but for smaller gigs there's very little of decent quality. I'm going to win the lottery and buy and run one. It'll be great.

Oh yeah, back to Müf. We have 3 gigs lined up for October/November which is good. Yay, gigs. Müf has been such a stop/start band that we've never really managed to get even vaguely established locally. Hopefully we can raise the profile a bit. (maybe we'll even sell some CDs!

Anyway, come and see us play at the BBBs on the 19th October, maybe we'll be good.

Comments:
No-one reads this blog anymore, do they Mike? Or rather, no-one ever posts comments anymore.

We never write for it anymore...

For some reason, i always check to see if there is anything new here. Imagine my constant disappointment.

I should post one, it would probably be the best thing ever, and change everybodies lives for the better.

I have that power, you see.

I remember when you had so much interesting stuff to say!

"Off to see Mike and Sonic Undermind play at the Newbury festival now. It's worth pointing out that as I sit here and type the rain is lashing down outside my window in a way that makes me think that world could come to an end this afternoon. Hope it stops soon.

Oh, and about the whole "I'll use this blog as diary to record my meteoric rise to the lofty heights of rock stardom" - not gonna happen, I'm afraid. I have to be really careful about what I say about the goings-on at Yankee 99er HQ, but I'll try and shoot mouth off about anything I can."

Where did it all go wrong?

Andy.

The Comments are better than the ComEnts. Maybe you should Comment on the Comments, in ComEnts.

The only thing more disappointing than coming here and not finding something to read is coming here and finding something to read.
