So, Joey Ultra decided to film some of our rehearsal last night. It seemed like an easy way to get recordings of some of our songs down and I'd seen a Pete and the Pirates rehearsal video that looked and sounded pretty good. Sam (the bass player) brought down his video camera and a tripod and we set it up in the corner of the rehearsal room and played away. Judging from what we saw on the camera, it turned out really well. It'll take a few days for Sam to sort the video out but if anything's good enough for public consumption I expect we'll put it up on YouTube!

One thing that helps is the massive amount of work that's been done at the place we rehearse Impact Studios recently. They renamed themselves to The Cell in April and since then they've done tons of work to improve the place as a whole and the rehearsal rooms in particular. The most recent improvement, a carpet, means that the acoustics in the room we use are now really good. All nicely damped and I think this has made a big difference to the sound quality.
