Alright, shut-up
I've got no band at the moment, hardly ever go to any gigs, so am really struggling with stuff to put up here. It's basically dead.
Have very much enjoyed the new Left Side Brain and Malefice albums. LSB album is their best yet, more complex but melodic. Malefice is heavier. I loved the first album and this one is just as good.
Off to see Pete and the Pirates on Thursday again, their warm-up for SXSW. Exciting.

Malefice
Malefice are a metal band from Reading who are doing really well. I haven't seen them live for a few years, back then they were a promising young band but not totally polished. Obviously things have moved on a long way. I keep reading good things about them and I'd been meaning to check out their album. It arrived this morning and it's really, really good. I've been a bit disillusioned with metal recently, but whilst you can hear the influences this sounds quite fresh.

I've got a CD-R somewhere that Dale gave me of an album they recorded at No Machine. I will have to dig it out.
